School Site Council Nominations – Due

We are looking for nominations for School Site
Council.
The SSC is an advisory committee that reviews and
recommends changes to the school plan (SPSA) and
develops and approves the school budget in
accordance with state and federal laws. Every
school that receives Title I funding must have a
SSC. This committee is a collaborative effort
between parents, teachers, staff, and students
which meets at least 6 times during the school
year. Staff, Parent, and Students may nominate
themselves or someone else.
We currently have two parent vacancies and three
student vacancies. Please encourage, or nominate,
other student and parents by September 9th (we
had to move up the timetable). Elections will
close by the 13th.
