Congratulations to our Winter DrumLine and Color Guard team for winning their first winter competition on February 28, 2025! We wish them the best of luck throughout the season.
Students Shine at the All-City Music Festival
On February 26-27, nine talented students from our Rosemont Music Program had the incredible opportunity to perform with the All-City Music Festival. This annual event brings together student musicians from schools across the Sacramento School District, allowing them to rehearse for a month and showcase their hard work in a final performance.
A huge congratulations and thank you to our amazing students for their dedication, talent, and outstanding performance. You have made our school proud—keep up the great work!

Black History
On February 26, we held a powerful assembly in the large Auditorium to celebrate Black History Month. We proudly honored 14 exceptional males and 14 inspiring females who have been successful in their struggles in life. A compelling video on Black History Month was showcased to the Rosemont High School staff and students. The video was produced by Harry Almahtar and Serenity Dunkley.

Spring Sports Information Night
Attention Spring athletes and families, Spring Sports Information Night is February 12th, 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Large Gym. This is a mandatory event for all spring student athletes and their families. During the general meeting we will cover expectations, policies, and introduce coaches. After the general meeting each team will conduct team meetings in different locations around the school. For more information please contact the head coach of your sport.
McCullough & Nicholson SVC Coaches of the Year!
Coach McCullough finds inspiration in seeing her players grow and improve in a sport she is so passionate about. She enjoys helping them develop their skills, build teamwork, and find love for the game. This season was filled with many highlights, including nearly defeating El Dorado, coming close against first place Liberty Ranch, and making it to the playoffs. With 24 years of coaching experience across girls, boys, and club volleyball, coach McCullough enjoys coaching the dedicated Rosemont team, who work hard, support each other like family, and embrace challenges.
