Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 am-3:30 pm
General Email: RHS-Attendance@scusd.edu (please use appropriate webform for submitting attendance and correction requests)
(Please report absences using the webform link on the right)
Phone: (916) 395-5130, Option 1
If you have been marked absent due to a sport, extracurricular or other school-sponsored activity, please see the procedure below:
1) Please allow 3-5 school days for processing before contacting the school.
2) If after 3-5 days the absence is not cleared, you first need to contact your coach, sponsoring staff member or club advisor. The coach, sponsoring staff member or club advisor will need to contact the Attendance Office on your behalf.
If your student needs to leave school early for any reason, you can have them dismissed in one of three ways.
In Person (best method) – at the Attendance Office in the Main Office at Rosemont High School. Parents, guardians, or a parent representative (who must be listed on the emergency card or listed in Infinite Campus) will be required to show a valid ID before taking a student off campus.
Submitting the Early Dismissal Request: Click Here
By Phone – (916) 395-5130 Ext 508030
or fill out the form on the school’s home page.
By Note (quickest method) – Note must include:
Student’s full legal name
Date and time of early dismissal (must be inside body of message)
Reason for early dismissal
Full legal name of person picking up student, if not guardian.
You must allow at least 3 hours for processing. DO NOT SUBMIT IMMEDIATE EARLY DISMISSALS THROUGH THIS WEBFORM.
Please fill out the form below, send a note with your student or call the Early Dismissal Line at (916) 395-5130, Option 1.
If you require an early dismissal in under 3 hours, please call at the time of dismissal or come in to the Attendance Office. Do not use this webform for dismissals under 3 hours as we will not receive it in time.
How This Works: The absence in question must be within the last two weeks. If the absence is older, your request is automatically denied as we cannot reprocess absences older than two weeks.
Your webform will be submitted to the Attendance Office. A staff member will forward your request to the teacher who you indicated and will require that the teacher respond. If the teacher verifies the correction, the absence will be corrected and you will receive a confirmation reply from the Attendance Office.
