General Dance Policy for Rosemont High School
Rosemont High School hosts a variety of dances throughout the year, each designed to provide students with memorable and enjoyable experiences. To ensure that all events are safe, respectful, and inclusive, the following general policies apply to all dances:
Entry Requirements
- All attendees must present a valid photo ID to enter the dance. Rosemont students must show their school ID, while approved guests may present any form of photo ID.
- Guests must follow the guest pass approval process and meet all outlined requirements.
Dress Code
- Attire must adhere to the school’s dress code and be appropriate for a school event. Specific dress code requirements may vary by dance type (e.g., casual, semi-formal, formal).
- Clothing must be secure, non-revealing, and not display undergarments.
- Shoes must be clean, safe, and suitable for dancing.
Dance Expectations
- Dancing must be respectful and safe at all times. (Examples: No hands on the floor, no sitting on shoulders, etc.)
- Students may arrive no later than one hour after the event begins and may not leave earlier than the designated time set for each dance.
- Students are expected to adhere to all school rules and policies while attending the dance.
Coat Check & Security
- A coat check will be available for storing personal items.
- All bags brought to the dance will be searched upon entry by an adult chaperone.
Guest Pass Guidelines
- Rosemont students bringing guests must obtain and complete a guest pass, adhering to all submission deadlines and requirements.
- Guests must be accompanied by their Rosemont host for the entirety of the event.
- Only Rosemont students are allowed to purchase tickets for their guests.
