A Special Graduation Message for Seniors!
June 8, 2017
We now have extra tickets available and can offer each graduate three additional tickets for $10 a piece. Students or parents may come to the Controller’s office tomorrow morning, Friday, June 9th, at 8:00 am to purchase extra tickets.
Seniors may not decorate their caps in any way.
A reminder that signs, balloons, and noisemakers are not allowed in the Auditorium because they may disturb other guests. Graduates are not allowed to hold flowers, stuffed animals, or other gifts during the ceremony.
Some graduates will have honor sashes/cords or pins based on special academic accomplishments. Other than those that have been approved by administration, students may not wear any additional decoration. Leis or other neckwear are prohibited.
All guests must have their wristbands securely attached before being permitted to enter the auditorium. Children 2 years old and younger do not need a ticket, but MUST remain on a parent’s lap throughout the entire ceremony. Also, there is no place to store strollers.
The second mandatory practice is tomorrow at 11:00 at the Memorial Auditorium.
Seniors must report to Memorial Auditorium by 1:45 pm tomorrow, June 9th. Doors open for guests at 2:00 pm. At 2:55 pm, doors close and will not reopen until approximately 3:10 to allow for the processional. The Processional begins at 3:00 pm.
Our Ceremony will be live-streamed on our website. 48 hours after the Graduation ceremony, the recording will be available to watch.
Graduates will receive a diploma cover as they cross the stage. They must pick up their actual diploma at Rosemont on Monday, June 12th between 1 and 3 in the foyer of the Auditorium. They may come at any time between 1 and 3:00.
