This week is Spirit Week
- Monday is Beach Day
- Tuesday is Toga Tuesday (students must wear clothes underneath)
- Wednesday is Wacky Tourist Day
- Thursday is Senior Citizen and Baby Day
- Friday’s theme is Toy Story, and students should also wear their class colors:
Finals for seniors are this week. On Tuesday, seniors take finals in 1st and 2nd period classes. On Wednesday, they take finals in 3rd and 4th periods, and Thursday they take finals in 5th and 6th period. Seniors’ last day of school is Friday, June 5th. This is also a shortened day. All students are released at 12:15. Lunch is served at that time for students who wish to eat.
Next week, 9th through 11th graders take finals from Monday, June 8th through Wednesday, June 10th. These are all shortened days. Finals for 1st and 2nd period are on Monday, 3rd and 4th period finals are on Tuesday, and finals for 5th and 6th periods are on Wednesday. Thursday, June 11th, also a shortened day, is the last day of school.
Last week’s performances of Alice in Wonderland were phenomenal. Our drama students came together to write the screenplay, build the sets, and market the entire production. Thanks to all of our actors and to Ms. Moynier for her work as Rosemont’s new Theater Director!
Tuesday, June 2nd, is the last music concert with Mrs. Wilmer at the helm. She recently announced her retirement , and we would love to see as many families as possible at this event, which starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Large Theater.
Thursday, June 4th is Senior Awards Night. Students who are receiving awards should have received an invitation. Anyone who wishes to attend to support our seniors is welcome! Start time is 6:30 p.m. in the Large Theater.
The last day for 7th period will be on Thursday, June 4th. However, the library will be open for tutoring.
During Finals, the library will close at 3:00 pm.
Sophomore parents – your student is now eligible to participate in the Summer of Service program at Rosemont. This free program runs from June 22 to July 30th – Monday through Thursday 8 – 2 p.m. Breakfast and lunch is provided for all students. After completing the program, students will receive 5 elective credits that count towards graduation. Seniors – time is running out to buy Grad Night tickets! There will be food, beverages, activities and live entertainment. This will be a night to remember. Tickets are on sale now in the Controller’s office for $45 until June 4th. Seniors will receive an additional Messenger this week with important end-of-the-year reminders.
