Please ensure that students do not wear clothing that violates the Rosemont Dress Code, including midriffs, spaghetti straps, and strapless tops and dresses. Students who violate the Dress Code will be asked to change or wear loaner Rosemont gear. Students who repeatedly violate the dress code will receive additional consequences. Thank you for your support!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Essence of Rosemont! We truly enjoyed seeing so many of you supporting our teams and clubs and also enjoying a variety of student performances. Thanks, again, for being a part of this celebration.

We will conduct our semester two safety drills this week. We will not announce the drills ahead of time but will let everyone know that they are drills when they do occur. We will also email our families to remind them that these are only drills and that all of our students are safe.

We need your help! “Rosemont Reads” is a new reading program that includes sustained silent reading several times each week in English classes. The goal is to inspire a culture of reading for pleasure across the campus. If students embrace reading as a part of daily life and see as something to be enjoyed, they will read more – a habit which directly impacts academic achievement. In order to build classroom libraries in each of the English classrooms, we need materials that represent a variety of interests. If anyone has books or magazines appropriate for high school students and would like to donate them, please drop them off in the front office anytime between now and the beginning of the 19-20 school year. We are here all summer! We would greatly appreciate your help! Anything you can do to encourage students to read at home would also help in our efforts to cultivate a culture of reading here at school!

Two Rosemont seniors have been chosen to receive SCTA scholarships for their academic achievements. Tatyana Aaliyah Durkin-Lewis received $5,000 for the Frank Tofell Memorial Scholarship, and Brian Mao received $2,000 for the SCTA scholarship! Congratulations to both of these deserving seniors, and many thanks to SCTA for their support.
