We are excited to announce that Rosemont earned a six-year WASC accreditation with a two-day mid-cycle visit in 2022! This is great news and definitely a testament to the hard work of the entire Rosemont staff. We will continue to focus on the recommended areas for growth and provide data to the entire school community along the way.

AP testing continues this week.
Monday
Biology is at 8 am.
Physics C: Mechanics is at noon.
Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism is at 2 pm.
Tuesday
Calc AB and BC are at 8 am.
English Lang and Comp is Wednesday at 8 am.
World History is Thursday at 8 am.
STATS is Thursday at noon.

School Site Council meets Tuesday, May 14th at 3:15 pm in the Large Conference Room.

Senior Trip, If you are going to attend, there is a mandatory parent and student meeting on Thursday, May 23rd at 6 pm in the Cafeteria.
This is the last meeting before the trip and all details will be discussed here. Please bring a pen and arrive on time. If you have questions, or are not able to attend, please call (916)761-9591.

Junior Families, it is time to start planning for your Senior Trip in the summer of 2020! There is a meeting on May 23rd at 7:30 pm in the school cafeteria to go over all details and questions regarding the trip. If you have questions, please call (916)761-9591.

Essence of Rosemont is Friday, May 24th from 5 – 8 pm!
Come out for food, entertainment, student performances, family-friendly activities, and more! Family movie follows from 8 – 10 pm.

Anmol Walia was awarded the Antonio Medrano Scholarship!
$1,000 was awarded by the members of the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators in Sacramento (CALSA-SAC). Anmol and another student from Luther Burbank were awarded the full scholarship, and three students from CK McClatchy were awarded partial scholarships.

ACSA (The Association of California School Administrators) recognized the Rosemont Drumline with an award for “Outstanding Efforts in Student Empowerment and Enriching our Community Through Music and the Arts”. Congratulations to Mr. Neff and his musicians for more well-deserved recognition!

Congratulations to Rosemont Varsity Softball, who will be playing on Monday in round 1 of the CIF San Joaquin Division III Sectional Playoffs @ Christian Brothers HS @ 4pm!

This is the third year in a row that softball has made playoffs. The varsity team had a record of 16-6 this year. (13-2 SVC League). Softball earned a record 6 All-League player selections and Coach of the Year honors. JV completed their season last week, finishing 11-7-1. It’s awesome that all members of this amazing team are being recognized for yet another incredible season.
