AP Testing continues this week. All tests begin at 8 am. Biology is Monday, Calc AB and Calc BC are Tuesday, English Lang and Comp is Wednesday, and World History is Thursday.

Senior Ball is next Saturday, May 19th from 7:00 – 11pm at the Arden Hills Country Club!

Come out to the Spring Concert on Thursday, May 24th. Start time is 6:30 pm in the Auditorium.

Just a reminder that school is closed on Monday, May 28th for the Memorial Day Holiday.

From Boosters…

Do you like being involved with your student’s activities? If so, join the Booster’s board meeting this coming June 5th at 5 pm in the front office conference room. We are seeking new board members! Boosters needs great parents LIKE YOU! 

Boosters also needs your help for the upcoming graduates of the class of 2018. We have several events planned in the weeks to come. And we need your HELP! Juniors & Seniors -

1. JUST A REMINDER – Parents and Seniors – a mandatory meeting is set for May 22nd in the cafeteria. This meeting will finalize everything for your upcoming Senior Trip.  2. It’s time…. Junior Students and Parents moving forward to your senior year – Your senior trip has been planned and what a great way to get started with easy monthly payments that are affordable. Don’t wait until fall to sign up! Your payments will be higher. Use the summer months to be way ahead. Come find out all the details and the discount for signing up early at meeting on May 23 at 6pm in Rosemont Library. Now for some great news…

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Track and Field team; they won the Sierra Valley Conference league title scoring 153 points. Cordova came in a distant 2nd place with 124 points. The team was led by senior David Lyubezhanin, who defended his title in the Triple Jump, while also winning the 110m Hurdles and the High Jump. Jaylen Ward dominated the sprints, defending his title in the 200m dash and adding a 100m title to his resume. Sophomore Carlo Chacon won the 300m Hurdles with the fastest time in Div. 4 this season. Other Top 4 SVC finishers moving on to the Division IV Section Championships next week in Stockton include;

Ethan Belnap (3rd in the 3200m run)

Jacob Hernandez (3rd in the 110m Hurdles, 3rd in Pole Vault)
