Good evening, Rosemont Wolverines!
Welcome to our new and returning families! We are so excited to begin the 2019-20 school year!
Here is some information about important August events:
Schedule Pickup for 10th – 12th grade students is Monday, August 26th from 9 – noon.
Students and/or parents may attend at any time during the 3-hour block to pick up the student’s class schedule and purchase ASB cards, PE clothes, yearbooks, Wolverine gear, and bus stickers.
PLEASE NOTE:(Although SCUSD students ride RT and Light Rail free of charge beginning in October, students must purchase a bus sticker for the month of September.)
Parents may also sign up for the ASSETs extended-day program and join the PTSA or Boosters organizations. For seniors, a representative from Herff Jones will be here with information about ordering caps, gowns, and other Graduation regalia.
Wolverine Freshman Welcome is also Monday, August 26th from 5 – 8 pm. At this event, Freshmen and their families will be welcomed with a hotdog BBQ and have the opportunity to see student performances, learn about all of our academic programs, clubs, teams, and other extra-curricular activities, and attend a series of informational workshops. We will also provide campus tours led by members of the Rosemont Student Government and Leadership classes.
The first day of school is Thursday, August 29th.
Breakfast, which is free to all Rosemont students, is served beginning at 7:30 am, and students will begin the day in the Main Gym at 8:00.
Thursday (like all Thursdays) is an early-release day, and students are dismissed at 1:57 pm. We will provide more detailed information about the first day activities in a Sunday email Messenger next week.
As always, please reach out with any questions! We are excited to welcome all of our Wolverine families in the coming weeks!
