Thanks to everyone who came out to the 1st Annual PTSA Crab Feed! It was a huge success! Many people from around the Rosemont community either attended, purchased tickets, but didn’t attend, donated auction items or simply made a cash donation. A highlight of the silent auction was an array of Rosemont student artwork. Many thanks to art teachers Ms. Mamola and Mr. Bodene, who encouraged their students to part with their creations. ASB and LEAD students served food and beverages, bussed tables and then participated in the clean up of the hall, which took several hours. They were amazing. We can’t thank our PTSA Board members enough for all of their work organizing this event. Special thanks to Annie Norris, former Rosemont parent, who took the lead! We look forward to making this an annual Rosemont tradition.

Our Robotics team is making plans for their upcoming trip to St. Louis for the World Championships! We still need donations to help fund the trip. If you would like to make a donation, please go to www.gofundme.com/uewhmgwc

Please put Essence of Rosemont on your calendar! This is an awesome community event for the entire family featuring student performances, demonstrations, exhibits, club booths, displays of student work, activities for young children, food and entertainment! This annual Rosemont tradition takes place on Friday, April 15th from 5 – 8 p.m. At the end of the event, stay for a family movie in our quad from 8 – 10 p.m.!!!

The PTSA Scholarship 5K Run is Saturday, April 30th.  Registration information is available now on the Rosemont website.

Congratulations to the March Students-of-the-Month!

Our tennis team is off to a great start! Through the 1st round of play, our Wolverines are 5 – 0! Tommy Trinh (#1 singles), Alexis Nguyen (#1 singles) and Tina Luong and Christina Kim (#1 doubles) are undefeated in league play. Baseball and softball both won two games this week. Baseball beat Union Mine 8 – 4 on the road and beat Cordova at home 11 - 1.  Softball took down Burbank 11 – 7 and beat Center 9 – 0. Great job, teams!!!!
