Time is running out to register for the PTSA 5K Scholarship Run next Saturday, April 25th. Register online now! This is an event you won’t want to miss!

Congratulations to Kaitlin Raymond and Kaylee Silber who will be recognized as the SCUSD Stellar Students at this week’s Board of Education meeting. You may remember that these two young ladies recently took first place out of 30 teams at the Santa Clara University Invitational Debate Tournament. Their picture is also first up on the district home page photo carousel!  We are so proud of their amazing accomplishment.

A reminder that CAASP Testing begins next Monday, April 27th.  All 11th graders take both English and Math tests, and 10th graders take the Science CST. The test schedule is posted on our website under the Standardized Testing Information quick link. AP testing begins on Tuesday, May 5th. The AP test schedule is also on our website.

Please put Friday, May 8th from 5 – 9 p.m. on your calendar! This is our Family Dinner and Game Night, which benefits the freshman and sophomore classes.  Come enjoy great food and lots of fun family games!

If you have extra stuff lying around, or you want more business exposure, come out May 16h to the Community Rummage Sale at Rosemont High School. Premium spaces are available to reserve for $20 by emailing

If you haven’t heard, school starts on Thursday, September 3rd – before Labor Day this coming fall. Update your calendars with this new start date! We will soon provide families with details about our Wolverine Welcome Week orientation days. Orientation will be very different this summer. Through grade-specific assemblies, we will provide students and their families with detailed introductions to our academic and extra-curricular programs, expectations for students, and site initiatives, including Social and Emotional Learning. Families will leave Wolverine Welcome Week knowing exactly what to expect from the coming year. We hope that you’ll find this new structure extremely helpful.
