Thanks to EVERYONE who filled out and returned lunch forms in the early fall! Our goal was to have 100% of lunch forms turned in. We received forms for 86% of our students, which is a great accomplishment! As a result, we were one of the schools to receive discretionary funds. Some schools received $5000, but Rosemont earned $10,000! Thanks so much for turning in these important forms!
This week in sports our Wolverines took care of business against Galt HS in almost all sports! Baseball won a pair of games, 5-3 & 3-0. Softball cruised to a 15-2 victory, and the Track team won their meet against the visiting Warriors. Some highlights from the track meet include Nalani Mafi winning the 10, the 200m, and being a part of the 4×100 relay team. Perhaps the most impressive feat, Nalani cleared 5 feet in the high jump! On the boys side Khalil Alston took 1st in the 100m and 200m, Zach Lavato won the 400m and 300m hurdles, and Dru Kell won both the long and triple jump events. Outstanding job to all our student athletes!

Mr. Stafford and his Robotics Team appeared on the Good Day Sacramento Weekend show on Saturday morning. It was an awesome interview! To view the video, go to gooddaysacramento.cbslocal.com/show/live-video. Channel 3 will be out on Tuesday to interview them, as well.
Last Friday, Mr. Neff took music students to visit the UOP campus where his former professor and mentor, Dr. Eric Hammer, led them through a clinic. They also observed and rehearsed with Pacific’s Wind Ensemble and toured the campus! Thanks, Mr. Neff, for providing your students with such an enriching experience. Also, the following Rosemont students performed as part of the All-City Band at McClatchy High School Saturday evening.
Prisila Alvarez Garcia
Congratulations to all of them for an outstanding concert!!
