Job Description:
Athletic Commissioners work closely with the Athletic Directors to promote, organize, and recognize athletic teams, student athletes, and achievements.
Athletic Commissioner Requirements:
- Join 4th Period Leadership
- Minimum 2.25 GPA
- No more than 6 tardies per quarter
- 95% Attendance Rate
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Visual Design & Publishing: Expertise in using Canva or similar platforms to design eye-catching flyers, schedule cards, and promotional posters.
- Multimedia Production: High proficiency in photography and video editing to create game highlights, "hype" reels, and student-athlete profiles.
- Social Media Management: Strategic knowledge of social media trends and platforms to maximize program coverage and interaction.
- Journalistic Writing: Ability to write engaging articles and announcements that highlight team achievements and athletic milestones.
- Game Day Operations: Reliability in high-stakes environments, specifically for announcing games or operating scoreboards with accuracy.
- Organization & Task Orientation: Strong time management skills to juggle multiple athletic projects and meet strict deadlines.
