Messenger – School Threat Incident

A threat related to a possible school shooter was reported to law enforcement this weekend. The Sacramento Police Department conducted an investigation with the assistance of school resource officers, arrested a suspect and recovered a BB gun. Students may safely return to school this morning, Monday, May 15th. Any further information will be released by the Sacramento Police Department.

This week, juniors take the Math CAASPP assessment. All students will follow a block schedule every day except Thursday. On Monday and Wednesday, students attend periods 1, 3, and 5. On Tuesday and Friday, students attend periods 2, 4, and 6.

We will also hold a junior assembly this Thursday, May 18th, to provide students with information about Senior Project for next year.

Students may not ride skateboards in the parking lot of the county offices across the street. This is extremely dangerous, and students will be cited if they continue to ride in this area. The parking lot is for cars with county business only.

We have reached the halfway point for the Pennies for Patients Drive. Our school total as of Wednesday is $531.39. Our goal is to raise $1,300 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Here are the top five classes in the school as of two days ago

4. Mr. Valaquez = 51.54

5. Mr. Singer = 31.53
