Hey Wolverines! Starting on December 16-20 is our season of
giving spirit week. Monday is a fuzzy sock day, Tuesday is ugly
sweater day, Wednesday is class colors, Thursday is holiday
headwear, and Friday is holiday cozy day. Show your school spirit
during our holiday season of giving!
Remember CSU and UC applications close on November 30th. Come to
the library during lunch today for help. Get them completed now
while there is staff to assist you!

Rosemont’s speech and debate team is looking for new members. We
meet every Thursday after school in B105. There is a mandatory
meeting for new members this Thursday. See you there.
Basketball Tryouts
Boys Basketball tryouts will be November 4th thru the 7th from
6:00 pm -8:30 pm.
Girls Basketball tryouts will be November 4th and 5th at 3:15 pm.
Hoodie sweatshirts, crewnecks, sweatpants, and the reorder of
P.E. shorts and P.E. shirts are available at the student store
during lunch. Be sure to have your ID ready to purchase.
From now on you must have your student ID to purchase at the
student store
CAASPP testing for juniors begins this week. All students will
follow a block schedule Monday and Wednesday to allow for
testing. Monday, students go to periods 1, 3, and 5. On
Wednesday, students go to periods 2, 4, and 6.
Tuesday is SAT makeup day for juniors who were absent on SAT day
earlier in the spring.
The School Site Council, ELAC, and Safety Committee meet
Tuesday, April 9th at 3:15 pm in the Large
Conference Room.
Spring Break is Saturday, April 13th thru Sunday, April 21st.

Our monthly UCAN (you-can) meeting will take place on January 15
from 9-10am in the library. All seniors who are interested in
applying to Historically Black Colleges and universities are
welcome to attend.

Senior Cap and Gown Sales
Attention seniors!! The last chance to buy a cap and gown for $28
is Tuesday, December 18th during lunch in the quad. If you do not
purchase your cap and gown this day, prices will go up $10.

We learned on Friday that a student at our school
was approached and threatened by several suspicious
individuals. Although this reported incident occurred off
campus and after school hours, I want to alert you of them
so that you will make sure your student is cautious when
walking to and from school or in the surrounding neighborhood.
Law enforcement has been contacted about these incidents and
is conducting a full investigation.
The library will be open to students beginning Monday, September
17th. The doors will be open at 7:30 a.m. A pass is required for
lunch time use.
Autism Awareness Club
Hey wolverines, Are you part of the Autism Awareness Club ? Do
you want to be part of the autism Awareness Club here at rosemont
high ? There will be a mandatory meeting on Monday September 24th

industry professionals please join us at 3PM in room C117. Find
out the design challenge for the year. Everyone is invited to
find out the design challenge. We need builders and designers.
Space is limited on the team so come to the interest meeting at
3PM on FRIDAY! Meetings will be every other Friday in room C117.

Russian Proficiency Test
We will be offering the Russian Proficiency test on Tuesday, May
22nd at 1:00 PM. If you want to take the test please sign up on
Mrs. Reeder-Esparza’s door in the counseling office.
