We had a GREAT first of days of school! Students were well-behaved, respectful, and focused. During grade-level assemblies on Friday, we reviewed important grade-specific information and also discussed general expectations.

Students will receive the 2018-19 Student Handbook on Tuesday in their first period class, and teachers will review the entire handbook as students move through their classes. The handbook is also posted on the Rosemont website. PLEASE take the time to review this with your child. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

Here are some important reminders as we move into the 2nd week of school:

Breakfast and lunch are free to all students. Breakfast is served from 7:30 – 7:53 am. Please encourage your student to begin each day with a nutritious meal at home or here at school.

Attending school every day is the number one key to academic success!!! Students must also be in their first period class by 8:00 am and arrive at all classes on time.

This week is Spirit Week! Students and staff may dress up each day leading to the welcome-back rally on Friday.

Tuesday: Tie Dye Day

Wednesday: Wacky Day (Wear any crazy combination of clothing!)

Thursday: Brain vs. Braun

Friday Class Colors:

Freshmen: White

Sophomores: Grey

Juniors: Yellow

Seniors: Blue

PLEASE complete the forms from the 1st day packets and have your student return them by Wednesday, September 5th to their first period teacher.

The first meeting of the Rosemont School Site Council is Tuesday, September 11th at 3:15 pm in the Large Conference Room.

Back-to-School Night is Thursday, September 27th from 6 – 7:30 pm.

The first general meeting of the PTSA is just before Back-to-School Night on Thursday, September 27th at 5:45 pm in the Cafeteria.

Great News!

Congratulations to Coach Wanlin and the football team for an AMAZING start! Both JV and Varsity beat Florin, CK McClatchy, and also Dixon! Come out this Friday to our home game against Cordova! Volleyball results to come soon.
