If you haven’t already filled out an LCFF form, please do so ASAP! This form is different from the lunch form we used to require. All students now eat free of charge, but we must still have an LCFF form for everyone. These forms determine school funding. For every student who does not turn in a form, the district loses approximately $2100. If you need another form, they are available in the front office.

Students should miss no more than 9 days of school each year to stay engaged, successful and on track to graduation! Please make sure that students are here at school every day!

On PSAT Day, Wednesday, we will now test all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students! Juniors will benefit from one additional chance to practice for the SAT, so we are excited to be able to offer them this opportunity. During PSAT, seniors will rotate through a series of informational workshops related to college and career. As part of the rotations, seniors will have the opportunity to register to vote. Please ask your senior to bring his/her driver’s license or their social security number. They will need these to register. Students who are 18 and registered may vote in the midterm election in November!

Wednesday, October 10th is also Senior Night!!!! This important meeting is for both parents and students. Refreshments will be served!

Here’s a shout-out to two Rosemont icons – Linda Zanze and Irene Carruthers, who have worked tirelessly at our home football games for 15 and 16 years, respectively. Linda has worked at the front gate and Irene has been selling tickets in the booth for all of those years. What incredible. commitment. Thanks so much to both of them for giving so much time to the Rosemont community. You guys are amazing………

Now for Some Great News…

Friday’s night’s game against El Dorado was awesome! Rosemont lost by one point, but fought hard until the last play. In addition to being the game-of-the-week, a 55-yard pass from Ricky Mayes to Nicholas Lopez was the Great Clips catch-of-the-week! Congratulations to Rick Wanlin, his assistant coaches and our athletes for well-deserved recognition!
