Summer of Service 2017

Attention all students! It’s time to get ready for Summer of Service 2017! Applications are now available after school in the library. Remember that everyone who participates receives 5 elective credits on their transcript. See Mr. Alvarez for more information. Space is limited.


College Admissions

Congratulations to all seniors who are receiving college admission notifications! We want to hear from you! Don’t forget to fill out your good news cards with your English 12 teachers, telling us about your college admissions, scholarship offers, sports accomplishments and personal accomplishments! Also, don’t forget to check the scholarship binder in the library!


Autism Awareness Month

!Starting March 31st please help support Autism Awareness month and wear Blue every Friday in April. Come out every Friday lunch in April for fun games with some fun people on our campus.


Junior Prom

Did you hear about what’s going on at Prom? No?, let me tell you. There will be red carpet, VIP treatment, food and refreshments, 103.5’s DJ, a photo booth and so much more for you to find out! So make sure you purchase your tickets online or at student store for $28 with ASB, and $30 without!


Community College Application

Reminder! All seniors who are planning to attend community college need to complete the application, orientation, assessment and meet with a community college counselor by April 1st in order to get priority registration. Summer Internship

Looking for a summer internship? Do you want to work in the state capitol, meet with the elected officials and state leaders, experience a court trial first hand and earn a $350 stipend this summer. If so, current seniors and juniors are eligible to apply. The application can also be found on the senior and junior page of the Rosemont website. The deadline is April 7, 2017



Come join BSU- Black Student Union or Brave Souls United. This club has speakers, food, friends, fun, movies, music, history, self-identity, and self-knowledge about culture, government, LGBTQ issues, and more! Come to room E202 Monday through Thursday from after school till 5. Hope to see you there!


Home Track Meet

Do you want to see people run fast, jump high, and throw? There is a home Track meet against Cordova High School today at 4:00. Come support your girls and boys JV and Varsity teams take on the Lancers.


Rosemont Rescue Run

Register for the Rosemont Rescue Run on May 6th. Registration includes entrance fee and a t-shirt. All proceeds will go to the Animal Shelter on Bradshaw. Children ages six and under are free. The cost for ages seven to seventeen is ten dollars. The cost for ages eighteen and up is fifteen dollars.


GSA/Only Love Club

Yes, it’s Wednesday and Rosemont’s GSA/LOL club meets in C220 with Ms. Snider. We are inviting anyone who has been interested in peer counseling as we want to take a picture of folks with our new poster.


We will discuss Essence of Rosemont as well as two awesome upcoming opportunities off campus – QProm and Be Brave, Be You. See everyone at lunch in C220.
