Senior Project

Sign-Ups for May Senior Projects will take place during this week up until March 17th in E206 starting at 7:45 am each day. If you do not sign up for a specific date/time by 3:00 pm on Friday, March 17th, one will be assigned to you regardless of your preference. Please see Ms. Siegert if you have any questions.


Summer of Service 2017

It’s time to get ready for Summer of Service 2017! Applications are now available after school in the library. Remember that everyone who participates receives 5 elective credits on their transcript. See Mr. Alvarez for more information. Space is limited.


Pennies for Patients

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Pennies for Patients campaign. As a school, we raised a grand total $1,347.31. At this time we would like to recognize the top 5 finishers for the Pennies for Patients Campaign:

College Admissions

Congratulations to all seniors who are receiving college admission notifications! We want to hear from you! Don’t forget to fill out your good news cards with your English 12 teachers, telling us about your college admissions, scholarship offers, sports accomplishments and personal accomplishments! Also, don’t forget to check the scholarship binder in the library!



Yes, it is Wednesday and Rosemont’s GSA/LOL club meets in C220 at lunch today. We will discuss peer counseling, Essence of Rosemont, and other items of interest.

Community College Application

Reminder! All seniors who are planning to attend community college need to complete the application, orientation, assessment and meet with a community college counselor by April 1st in order to get priority registration. Summer Internship

Looking for a summer internship? Do you want to work in the state capitol, meet with the elected officials and state leaders, experience a court trial first hand and earn a $350 stipend this summer. If so, current seniors and juniors are eligible to apply. The application can also be found on the senior and junior page of the Rosemont website. The deadline is April 7, 2017


Blood Drive

The blood drive will be this Thursday, March 16th. Students must be 16 and older in order to give blood. If you are still interested in donating, today is the last day to turn in forms so be sure to turn your forms in the cafeteria


Essence of Rosemont Performances

Hey wolverines! Are you interested in performing at Essence of Rosemont? You still have a chance! Starting today, auditions will be held at lunch and after school. This week is your last chance so be sure to take advantage of this great opportunity to perform in front of your community. Don’t miss out!

Junior Prom

Attention all Juniors! This week is the last week you can get your Prom tickets at a discounted price. Prices begin with 25$ with ASB and $28 without. Purchase them online and at student store. Get them before they raise next week!!!


Rosemont Rescue Run

Register for the Rosemont Rescue Run on May 6th. Registration includes entrance fee and a t-shirt. All proceeds will go to the Animal Shelter on Bradshaw. Children ages six and under are free. The cost for ages seven to seventeen is ten dollars. The cost for ages eighteen and up is fifteen dollars.


Swim Team

Also, today is our first swim meet of the year against Cordova. The meet starts at 4 o’clock so come out and support your wolverine aqua jocks.

Lunchtime basketball tournament, Essence of Rosemont, dances, rallies, club meeting, and many more activities are happening everyday. It seems there is so much going on it can be difficult keep track of all the events. . . Until now! Join the Rosemont High School text message feed, to keep track of all announcements, giveaways, and events on campus. It is easy to join. Text the @rhsrocks to the number 81010. Come join BSU- Black Student Union or Brave Souls United. This club has speakers, food, friends, fun, movies, music, history, self-identity, and self-knowledge about culture, government, LGBTQ issues, and more! Come to room E202 Monday through Thursday from after school till 5. Hope to see you there!
