Autism Awareness

Attention Wolverines, Did you know Autism is one of the fastest-growing developmental disorders in the United States and costs a family $60,000 a year on average! Come out this Wednesday, April 4th, at lunch and be part of musical chairs to help support April Autism Awareness Month at Rosemont High School! Come be part of Rosemont’s change for autism Awareness! Also don’t forget to be a part of this change by wearing blue on Wednesday April 4th for Autism Awareness month! Athletic Picture

Attention all athletes, if you have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and missed the yearbook photo during 3rd period today, please come to lower E during lunch today for your make up picture.

 

Sophomore Sac State Field Trip

Sophomores, this Friday, march 23rd is the last day to turn in permission slips for the Sac State Field Trip. We will be having a college visit on April 5th, but you must turn in your permission slip by this Friday.

 

Spring Giving

Please help our less fortunate local friends of the Sacramento community by donating any type of clothing or necessities. All donation boxes will be in lower B in rooms 120, 105, 101, and 110. For questions or more information contact Vy Nguyen.

 

Junior Prom

Attention all Juniors! Put on your dresses, suits and ties. You’re invited to this year’s Junior Prom. The theme for prom this year is “A Night Under the Stars.” Prom will be held on Saturday, April 14th, here on campus. Ticket will be sold in the student store and online, prices start $20 with ASB Card and $25 without an ASB Card. Better snag this opportunity and purchase tickets now before prices go up. Guess passes are available too! Students may pick up a guest pass at the student store.  We hope to see you there on the dance floor at prom!

 

Essence of Rosemont

Our 9th annual Essence of Rosemont is almost here. Come and join us on Thursday, April 5, at 5:00 pm and bring your families and friends. This will be a fun filled night with food, performances, and showcases. Students who visit their teacher between the hours of 6 – 7 PM will be entered into a raffle for bluetooth speaker, cell phone charger, and $50 gift card. Bring your parent or guardian and to visit your teacher and double your chances to win.

Cafeteria Student Worker Program

How would you like to earn a little extra money ( and a free lunch) while you are here at school? We are once again looking for enthusiastic and hard-working students to participate in our cafeteria student worker program for the 2018/19 school year. If you are interested, please see Irene Carruthers in the cafeteria for an application or for more information. The first 12 students who submit complete applications will be considered for an interview and possible hire. The deadline for submitting completed applications is Friday, April 13th.

 

Community College (Summer)

Sophomores interested in taking summer classes at the community college can now go online and see the college class schedules for summer and fall! You must have an overall GPA of 2.7 and you can take 2 classes or 6 units every term. See Mrs. Reeder-Esparza for more information.

 

Summer Job

Are you interested in a summer job? Are you between the ages of 15-18? Boys and Girls Clubs and PG & E are hosting a Summer Youth Employment Program. Applications are due by April 20th and you can find them online, or in the counseling office.
